Healthy gaming habits

Tips for Safe and Healthy Gaming

Follow these habits to ensure responsible gaming:

  • Set a specific budget before you start gaming and never go beyond that limit.
  • Avoid placing more bets in an attempt to recover lost money — this is called "chasing losses" and is very harmful.
  • Take regular breaks between each gaming session. Avoid playing for long stretches at a time.
  • Do not game while drinking or under mental stress — play with a clear mind and sound judgment.
  • Do not think of gaming as a source of income or a solution to financial problems — it is entertainment only.
  • Spend time with family and friends. Gaming can never replace social relationships.
  • Always keep your bet amounts at a level where losing will have no impact on your daily life.
